Artist and illustrator, Caroline Funchion is the team’s muralist, and specializes in children's art and design.  From peaceful hills and valley's covered with wildflowers in a little girls room to Where the Wild Things Are in a little boys playroom, Caroline will help our clients design the perfect mural or hand painted accents for children’s bedrooms and playrooms.  While children’s art is her passion, she creates spectacular murals to suit any room in a home or business.

Julie and Caroline work closely with clients to create murals that best suit the chosen space.  After an initial consultation, they will present several sketches and color swatches for the client’s choosing.

In addition to her work with Samarra Faux, Caroline is also the creator of LadyBug Corner Designs, a business dedicated to creating unique, quality and hand painted accessories for children such as wooden wall letters, handcrafted mirrors of all sizes, playroom tables and chairs, toy chests, foot stools and rockers.  All of LadyBug Corner Designs services and products are available through Samarra Faux.
